I serve this over Penne noodles. I sometimes add shrimp or chicken to this.
- 1 cup double cream
- 6 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
- 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese, fresh, grated
- pepper, fresh, ground and to taste
- Place cream and blue cheese in saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly, over medium heat. As soon as mixture reaches a boil, remove from heat and pour over pasta of choice. Sprinkle with parmesan and season with pepper to taste.
It was very good. Super fast. While boiling the pasta I made the sauce. Done in 12 minutes.
I added a little parsley so it wouldn't look so pale. Like Bea said, I believe it would be delicious with some chicken, even ham.
