Yum!!!!! I love this SOOO much! I honestly thought that this was going to be nasty, but it was one of my favorite things ever! Thanks so much!

Who doesn't love beans on toast? Oh fiddle-diddle, these were outstanding!! I even found the regional "Heinz" beans in tomato sauce from our local Wegman's and had some country bread that made some terrific toast. How much better could it get? Add some sheared eggs to the top and you'll see. I wouldn't change one thing about this. Just add a fork. Made for ZWT6 2010

I made 1 serving for breakfast. I had just about 1 cup leftover Queen Puff's Easy Baked Beans that was just enough for me. Topped with Sheared Eggs and a a nice cuppa Lady Jane tea! I love this combo and will definitely make it again. Thanks for posting SarahBeth. Made for Zwizzle Chicks for ZWT6 Family Picks.

Don't know why people think this odd... it's hearty, filling, and easy to do. I do understand that it would be more truly British to apply the beans cold, direct from the can, and I took the liberty of using a favorite brand, Bush's. The fried egg on top is the missing piece that ties it together. Made for Zaar World Tour 6 on behalf of the Voracious Vagabonds.

Simple and tasty. I used Bakes Beans - "brilliant" - Vegan for the baked beans. Thanks for sharing! ZWT6

A British classic! Personally I prefer it plain and simple without the eggs on top. And you're right about tea being absolutely essential! Made for ZWT6.

My first meal of the British portion of ZWT 6 had to be an easy classic recipe and nothing does classic British and easy as well as beans on toast. I used to be one of those Americans that thought it sounded strange but then I moved to the UK and tried it and now I understand why it is everybody over here's favourite comfort meal on a budget. Made for Zee Zany Zesty Cookz for ZWT 6.
