This recipe has been in Hubby's family for years.. it took me a long time to try it, but it's actually really good.
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb pork sausage
- 2 cans pork and beans
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1⁄4 cup mustard (liquid)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 loaf white bread

- Brown ground beef and sausage, drain.
- Remove and discard bit of"pork" from pork and beans, add beans, ketchup, mustard,and chili powder.
- Simmer over low/medium heat for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over bread, 2 slices per serving.
