I made this as a mid-afternoon snack at the lake this weekend and it was a big hit! I used a total of 4 cups of cheese but kept the rest of the ingredients the same. My brother mentioned he would like me to make it again and add some onion and garlic. I'll be trying that for the fourth of July and let you know how it turned out. Thanks for sharing this great recipe, loof! We loved it!

I thought the quantity of chili powder totally overwhelmed the flavor. I thought the whole recipe would have been better with it left out entirely. The flavor of the beans and the different cheeses were totally lost. Maybe it should have been 2 teaspoons rather than 2 tablespoons of chili powder. Also, I halved the recipe and it still made close to 2 cups of dip. Unless you have a very large crowd, I would suggest that half is enough.
