Delicious and perfect with a tossed salad for a simple supper. We used rice vinegar instead of the champaign vinegar and used peppered bacon for the bacon--delicious! Thanks for sharing!
Oh. My. I love blt's to begin with, but this just took it to new heights. The sauce is tangy without being overpowering. The shrimp add a subtle but tasty new element. I added a bit of thinly sliced red onion and thin slices of avocado to mine. Left the tomatoes off dh's as he doesn't like them and added the onion to his as well. Lightly toasted the bread in the oven. Dh just kept saying, over and over, "these are so good!" He said "tell Sandi I really like this!"
