1. yum yum yummy. i used sweet onions, spicey brown mustard, rice vinegar, 3 tablespoons brown sugar, and no liquid smoke (don't have any) i replaced the liquid smoke amount plus a tiny bit with honey bbq sauce. i made 3 chops so when i make 6 chops in the future i will double the recipe since i like extra sauce. it was exactly what i was looking for. thanks

 2. This is definately a 4 1/2 star recipe.I halved the recipe,as I was only cooking for two,but wished that I hadn't! I used dark brown sugar in mine,as I think that it lends itself better to this kind of recipe than white. The smell emanating from the kitchen brought my husband running to find out what was cooking.Not only did it smell great,it tasted great too.Thanks for a top recipe!

 3. This is atleast a 4.5 star recipe. My Wife loved it and gave it a five. My 11 year old daughter gave it a 4 and my 13 yr. old son a 4 as well. A bit tangy for them. I can't help but think internetnut may be on to something with adding the brown sugar? Will make this again. Thanks Tapout

 4. I gave this 5 stars. First I want to say I messed this recipe up so bad I thought there was no help for it. I used 1/2 cup of Worcestershire Sauce instead of 2 Tbl, I had only 1/4 cup ketchup, I forgot to fry my pork chops first. I used boneless chops as that's all I ever use, to save the recipe I added tomato sauce and tomato paste to the 1/4 cup ketchup until it looked like ketchup, I added 1/4 cup water, 3 Tbl brown sugar, 3 Tbl tomato paste to my boiling mixture until more thickend. The results my sister walked into my kitchen and said man something smells good. Well it tasted good to. I do plan to make this again the right way but it turned out yummy anyway! Thanks for posting a yummy recipe! Christine (internetnut)

 5. Like Mia Bella, I finished my chops on the stove adding the sauce after browning the meat. Added 2 extra tablesppons of water to account for evaporation and let them simmer slow for 30 minutes. The chops were falling off the bone tender and just full of flavor. Speaking of flavor, the sauce is just awesome. I replace the white sugar with 1 tablespoon of brown sugar Splenda and otherwise made as directed. Just th right mix of tangy, spicy and sweet. Can't wait to make more to liven up some chicken breasts. Made this for Pick a Chef 2006. Thanks Mama Shirl.

I love cookbooks and have tons and TONS... right now I am trying to collect most of the Gooseberry Patch ones and have to have dh keep a list in his wallet so we dont buy duplicates. I love ones with pictures and love, love TOH ones. I have got my famous tilapia with jasmine rice published in TOH and have a few published in some GBP. I will find any excuse to buy a cookbook lol. I like practical cookbooks, nothing strange or difficult. Simple ordinary everyday family recipes.

<img src=http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/8283/mybannerglitter0bf587ff.gif border=0 alt=Create your own banner at mybannermaker.com! />
