This recipe has been with me for years. Fast for weeknight meals - not a lot of work. Even my non-BBQ eater (yes those people do exist) eats this one. Works well with shaved ham and a shredded pork roast. You can easily double this recipe for feeding a larger group. You need to let the sauce and meat simmer to get the real flavor. I'm sure you could also spice this up with some onions and peppers but due to picky eaters - we just follow the recipe. Serve BBQ meat on a nice toasty bun - yummm.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Combine ketchup, lemon juice, brown sugar, worchestire sauce and mustard in pot. Bring to boil.
  2. Add ham (or shredded cooked pork roast). Stir to c6oat meat.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Serve on toasted buns.
