Oh my goodness, this salad was excellent. I served it at our 4th of July party. I doubled it and it still didn't last very long. I used KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce. Had a sweet-tangy overall flavor. A great recipe that I will use often. Thanks LLBunny.

I just made this for lunch using the leftover chicken and chiles in adobo that I made last night from Grilled Chipotle Lime Chicken Breasts - or Thighs. This chicken salad is super easy, delicious and summery! I didn't have the red bell pepper or onion so I added avocado chunks and tomatoes! I will definitely be making this again! I am also going to try this sauce as a dipping sauce for chicken quesidillas, I think it would be delicious too! THANKS!

Well, this has joined my rotation of regularly used recipes. My family LOVED this BBQ chicken salad and I did, too because it was so easy to put together and the flavor was delicious. I forgot to put in the cilantro but I can't imagine the taste being improved at all. Thank you for submitting this recipe.

Thoroughly enjoyed this salad. Can't get chipotle chili in adobo over here, so I substitute it with the hottest chillis we have here, and I used 3. it was just perfect for my family! We ate well, thank you!

Exciting combination of flavors. I used fat free mayo but otherwise made it according to the recipe. Served it on large plates of lettuce. Way too easy to keep eating this. Must make more. Soon.

Yum Yum! I love barbecue sauce and cilantro together and this salad really is delicious. My favorite little pizza place that served barbecued chicken pizza with cilantro and red onion on it closed down, but now I can whip up this salad and satisfy my cravings. Thanks LLBunny!

Great recipe. I do not like most bottled sauces so I used some of my leftover New mexican bbq sauce. This is so easy and tasty. I had to adjust the chipotle upward of course - you can't ever just use one. Did you really mean just cilantro stems? I used leaves and stems both.

Delicious change from the usual chicken salad recipes. This recipe made for a Sweet, spicy, and crunchy lunch. Served with pita bread but could be enjoyed on its own as well.

This was so flavorful! We had them in lettuce cups. I did replace half the mayo with sour cream. Next time I may use all sour cream. I think some bacon would be good in this also. This is so versatile. I bet this dressing would be good over potato salad. Maybe even with a little lime added. Thanks for this excellent recipe!

I really enjoyed this one. I liked that mayo mixed with BBQ flavor, plus the added chipolte spice. We are a "low spice household" so I only added 1 pepper, which was the perfect amount. I used chicken from Crock Pot Whole Chicken (crockpot whole chicken). Next time I will use larger pieces of chicken, otherwise, the texture was like chicken salad. Still with awesome taste, but for texture, larger pieces next time for me. The left overs were used for sandwiches with american cheese and crispy onions. YUM! I think next time I may not use the leaf on the first go around, but use bread, tortilla or something to hold this delicious mixture. This was great! Thank you!
