Great recipe--crunchy, coating sticks well, flavorful. What more could you want in a battered fish?
This is a very good recipe for deep fried fish. The texture of the coating reminded me of Captain D's fish. We loved it and will be making it a lot. Thanks for posting this wonderful recipe.
This is a great recipe for fried fish and one I will use often! I loved the addition of Tony Chachere's cajun seasoning. Spiced it up, but not too much! The coating clung to the fish and was crunchy and deliciously flavored! The picture had me sold on this one and it tasted just as good as it looks!
I was very very disappointed with this batter recipe. After reading the reviews I had high hopes for this so called Chip Shop batter. Mine came out like wet cardboard. Did 2 batches, with the second batch being a bit thinner. No change. Followed the recipe; what went wrong?!
So good and crunchy! I used walleye fish..really tasty!
