  1. Preheat oven to 400F and set baking 8" square baking pan in the oven to heat.
  2. Beat eggs; add buttermilk, and milk.
  3. Beat well.
  4. Sift dry ingredients together; add to milk mixture along with the butter.
  5. Grease the heated pan, pour in batter and bake until set in center, about an hour.
  6. Serve at once.
