Makes a great inexpensive Christmas gift
Make and share this Bath Salts recipe from Food.com.
- 709.77 ml epsom salts
- 14.79 ml glycerine
- 0.06 ml food coloring
- 0.13 ml scented oil (your preference)
- Stir all ingredients well.
- Store in a glass jar.
The only reason this is getting 4 starts is because it does have potential. All the ingredients (except for the food colouring) are good for the skin. The only part I question is the food coloring. This is not very good with people who are skin sensitive and 2 drops of scented oil will get you no where. Scent until you are happy with it....that could be 1/8 tsp or 1/2 tsp depending on your preference!
Good easy recipe. I tried it with stuff from these guys http://www.sfbsc.com
These bath salts come out quite bright and glittery - no pastels here! I used spice jars which hold 3/8 of a cup of mixture.
