Baskin-robbins Cappuccino Blast (my Version)

"I came up with this version of a Cappuccino Blast after I visited a Baskin-Robbins with my cousin and ended up waiting in line for almost a half-hour. I will never do that again! This way saves time, money and aggravation. It tastes exactly like the real thing, I promise! :) P.S. For a mocha-flavored version, add 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup to the recipe and prepare as described."

  1. Absolutely nothing similar. I followed the recipe exactly. The product is 100% liquid there is no thickness or ice it all melts due to the high amount of milk called for. The liquid result didn't even taste good remotely. Way to much milk in the recipe. What a waste. Maybe 1/3 cup

  2. I love this recipe. I did make a few tweaks though. I followed the recipe but added coffee ice cream instead of vanilla. I also added a "plop" of peppermint extract. OMG! Fantabulous (and I don't even like coffee).

  3. This was delicious! Thank you for the recipe. I added 2 tsp of cinnamon and nestle chocolate syrup (about three tablespoons) and my husband said it was the real thing! Now we can curb his cappuccino blast habit and make it much cheaper at home. Thank you again for sharing!

  4. Actually i believe the reason the flavor may be a bit off is because they use Coffee flavored ice cream instead of vanilla. but this recipe is still good nonetheless and I enjoyed it.

  5. I added 2 teaspoons dry coffee crystals to 1/2 cup of coffee and boiled it for 2 minutes before proceeding with recipe. Baskin Robbins' Blast has a stronger coffee taste to it. The recipe is perfect. Thanks!

Hello.. :) Boy, am I glad I discovered RecipeZaar! I've found some really great recipes here. I'm from Long Island, NY, but recently relocated to Port St. Lucie, FL. I work as a Document Specialist for a large publishing company. I love to cook; I don't have a favorite cookbook - I enjoy trying out recipes from ordinary people who are willing to share them. :) My passions are cooking, baking, my pets, shopping, reading, listening to music and watching movies. I have lots of pet peeves, but one of my biggest are people who don't use seasoning in their foods! lol. If I had a month off from work with no responsibilities (assuming this is with pay, of course) I would shop, shop & shop! :)
