  • Put pine nuts/almonds into a dry skillet and cook on medium-low (4/10) until they brown.
  • Watch the nuts carefully, and stir frequently as they burn easily, and don't take long to cook.
  • Combine all ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until a smooth paste.
  • Tip: If not all ingredients combine well, shake or stir the container.
  • Tip: If the pesto isn't the desired consistency, add more olive oil to make it smoother.
