Basic white bread for my bread machine for a large loaf on rapid bake setting
- 18 ounces flour, by weight
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons dry milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 1⁄2 cups milk or 1 1⁄2 cups water
- 2 1⁄4 teaspoons yeast
- Weigh out flour and add to bread machine pan.
- Add rest of ingredients except for yeast.
- Add yeast to yeast receptacle.
- Choose rapid bake cycle and medium loaf.
