Basic Vinaigrette

"This is a basic oil, vinegar and herb dressing that I came up with when I was dissatisfied with the bottled organic vinaigrettes available. Great for green salads, grain salads, bean salads or cooked vegetables."

• Ingredients: 11
• Yields: 2 cups

ingredients

• 1 cup olive oil
• 1⁄2 cup red wine vinegar
• 1⁄2 cup balsamic vinegar
• 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons granulated garlic, or
• 3 fresh garlic cloves (minced or pressed.)

directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a jar
2. Shake vigorously.
3. Store in tightly closed jar.
4. Keeps indefinitely.
5. Shake thoroughly before using.
