This is a recipe for a basic topping to put on a basic plain cheese pizza. Use amounts as guidelines in making up you own topping ideas.

  • 14-13 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 -2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 12-1 teaspoon dried Italian herb seasoning or 1 tablespoon fresh mixed Italian herbs


  1. Spread sauce over dough, leaving a 1/2 inch edge uncovered.
  2. Sprinkle cheese evenly on top and sprinkle with desired herbs.
