ingredients
- 118.29 ml small shell pasta, any style.
- 59.14 ml dry lentils
- 59.14 ml chopped dried mushroom
- 29.58 ml parmesan cheese
- 14.79 ml minced dried onion
- 29.58 ml chicken bouillon granules or 29.58 ml beef bouillon granules
- 14.79 ml parsley flakes
- 4.92 ml oregano
- 4.92 ml garlic powder
- 709.77 ml water
directions
- Place dry ingredients, except macaroni, in saucepan, and add water.
- Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Add macaroni and cook for 10 more minutes.
- Remove from heat for a few minutes to cool and ladle into soup mugs and serve, with small size croutons or oyster crackers.

I am a 71 year old man who survived Lung Cancer in 2001. My wife of 46 years passed away in Jan of 2006. She lost her long battle with metastatized breast Cancer, since 2004 and had other non cancer related problems. I have been walking around the Burlington Mall to strengthen my lungs. I have also started trying to eat healthier and have lost some weight. I have been cooking, off and on, since I could see the stove top. Nothing fancy normally, just plain food.
