  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 ounces sour cream
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • Blue Cheese Dip

  • 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh onion
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 12 cup buttermilk
  • serve with crackers or chips or assorted fresh vegetable
  • Dill Dip

  • 2 tablespoons dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh onion
  • 1 tablespoon beau monde seasoning
  • serve with assorted fresh vegetable
  • Seafood Dip

  • 4 ounces cooked shrimp, and
  • crab, chopped
  • 12 ounce dry onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish
  • serve with water crackers or jicama or chips or toasted miniature party rye rounds
  • Creamy Onion Dip

  • 1 12 ounces dry onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoons snipped fresh chives
  • serve with chips, and
  • assorted fresh vegetable
  • Picante Dip

  • 6 ounces salsa
  • 14 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 14 cup stuffed olives, chopped
  • serve with tortilla chips or assorted fresh vegetable

Directions

  1. Mix together all the ingredients until smooth. Add the ingredients from one of the following variations. Keep tightly covered and refrigerated until ready to serve.
