Nothing could be easier to make than fresh cranberry sauce.
- Boil sugar and water together for 5 minutes.
- Add cranberries and boil, without stirring, till skins pop, approximately 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and cool.
This is the same recipe I use to make my own homemade version of canned cranberry sauce using either fresh or frozen cranberries-whatever form I happen to have on hand. Easy as it gets and quick. Why buy that scary canned stuff when you can make this in nothing flat? Thanks for posting. cg ;)
