- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup grated cheese (the milder, the better, try cheddar, mozzarella)
- Melt butter in saucepan.
- Stir in flour until blended.
- Stir in milk slowly.
- When the sauce has thickened, reduce heat and stir in cheese.
- Wonderful on steamed broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus or any veggie you want your child to try.
