  1. Great simple recipe. I didn't change a thing. My first time making homemade applesauce and it tastes so much better than the store bought stuff. I used Honeycrisp apples which imparted just enough tang.

  2. Easy enough for my 2 year old to help! :-) great easy recipe!

  3. This was great, though I left out the sugar and salt (apples are plenty sweet). I froze in 1 cup bags, great for having on hand for baking. Thanks for posting!

  4. I agree with everyone. This recipe was super simple and delicious. I'm not a huge applesauce fan, but my daughter is, and even I would eat a big bowl full of this. Thanks for the recipe!!

  5. I couldn't believe how easy it was to make! Next time I'll use just a bit less sugar. I may never buy jarred applesauce again!
