So good to make ahead and have for lunches throughout the week! Mine was a little watery so will use a little less lemon juice next time.
This recipe uses light and refreshing ingredients. It?s just what I was looking for to avoid oven use during warm summer days and yet still create a nutritious and filling meal. I featured it in my blog - http://danasfoodblog.com/?p=905 .
Great -- and the longer you leave it refrigerated the better it gets!
Excellent recipe! Dressing is nice and light, yet lemony and dilly. I used red pepper instead of cucmber and a heaping tbsp dried dill for the fresh. You may want to add less for a less intense dill flavour. Will definately make this again. Barley. Try it. You will never have rice again!
Excellent recipe, thank you. Amazing blend of flavors and a light dressing, just perfect. I did not have fresh dill so I used 2 teaspoons of dried dill worked fine. Definitely a keeper.
This is one of my favorite lunches to pack, and I've had a few variations of it (sometimes we replace the cucumbers with pickles, for example). This has great texture and a very fresh flavor. I don't seem to get tired of it (and that's saying something, because I don't often repeat recipes). Thanks for sharing this!
This is a great summer weather salad. The taste is very fresh, and light, although a bit too lemony for my tastes so I will cut back just a bit next time. This is the first time I've had a tuna salad without mayo or Miracle Whip - it's very tasty. I did omit the tomatoes because I do not like tomatoes and tuna together, but otherwise followed the recipe. I will definitely make this a lot during the summer. Thanks for posting.
Toni, this is awsome. The flavors were nice and light and melded together perfectly. My DH who loves mayo heavy tuna gobbled his down and said this is good. I will make this again and often durring the warn summer months. Thanks again for sharing.
I really enjoyed this tuna salad and wish I could give it more than 5 stars! The flavors are amazing, very fresh and love the crunch of the veges. Definitely use fresh dill, wonderful! Couldnt stop tasting while making this. Thank you toni for a new favorite!
