In an unscientific taste test, 4 out of 5 dogs preferred homemade Barkin' Bars over store-bought bars!
Directions:
1
Preheat oven to 325°F.
2
Fetch 2 cookie sheets and grease them.
3
Dump everything into a HUMONGOUS bowl and mix thoroughly.
4
On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough mixture into approximately ½-inch thick oblong sheets.
5
Sit!
6
Stay!
7
Place dough onto greased cookie sheets and, using a pizza cutter or knife, score into whatever size cookies you like.
8
Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
9
After an hour, turn oven off, crack oven door open, and allow cookies to cool in oven.
10
Break at the scored lines.
11
Say “Woof”!. These freeze really well.
Ratings & Reviews:
I have 2 dogs, they both agree that these bisquits are much better than the store bought kind.My husband ate one also thinking they were cookies for him, he thought they were good, but just a little on the dry side.

I'm a groomer, made these to send home with clients. All the pooches loved them! Many customers have returned (without dogs) to ask for more :-)

I made these to take backpacking with our two dogs. I upped the beans, subsituted extra molasses for honey, and added a lot of peanut butter. Artemis and Merlin went nuts over them, and the snacks helped keep their energy level up on the trail. Thanks!
