      I was not sure if ingredient were to be dried or fresh. But I did use both! The echinacea root I used was dried so I opted for 1 teaspoon being it `s stronger in that state. The mint, lemon balm, and yarrow was fresh from the garden using 1 tablespoon of each, catnip disappeared from my garden :( (I sure the cats enjoyed it). I added some honey and lemon. I did add a bit of dried Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) which also helps with coughs and bronchitis being an expectorant, demulcent, anti-inflammatory, adrenal agent, antispasmodic, mild laxative, antibacterial, antimicrobial, antitoxic. This tea is NOT recommended if nursing or pregnant moms to be. Thanks for keeping us healthy!
