I love Deer meat of anykind, but especially BBQ. I slow cooked mine stove top with a can of beer, 4 garlic cloves and a small quartered onion added to the liquid. It was SOOOO tender when it was done. I, too, add cider vinegar to my sauce, along with red pepper flakes, a dash of hot sauce and a tablespoon of molasses. I love the liquid smoke in your recipe!

  1. Place Roast in crockpot let cook on low for 8 hours or overnite.
  2. Let Roast Cool.
  3. Skim off any fat.
  4. Shred Roast.
  5. In medium sauce pan mix ingredients for Sauce.
  6. Bring to Boil.
  7. Pour over Meat and Mix through.
  8. Reheat.
