Fantastic burgers! We love pesto and it really made these burgers moist and delicious. We will definitely have these again. I did not add the olives, but will try them next time. Made for the AUS/NZ Make My Recipe Tag, October, 2011.

This is a great burger. I used black olives. And I forgot to add the water. But they were perfect. Thanks katew :) Made for the Australian recipe swap for April 2011

What a totally unique tasting burger! I grilled mine outside on the grill....don't have a grill pan! Served it without bread because I have elimated bread right now due to a diet, and used ground sirloin to cut the fat content. These are full of flavor! I didn't add the water because with the sirloin the mix was already a little watery. These are very salty with the olives and pesto, so you don't need to add any more. This was a really great tasting burger...just not the traditional one! I can totally picture this served up in a pita with some wonderful tzatziki sauce and shredded lettuce. Thanks for sharing your wonderful recipe.

Amazingly good! Really bursts with flavour and I served in a bun with a small amount of lettuce, tomato and cube or two of feta. I feel they're best served without too much else so you don't take away from the great taste too much.
