Most people call these Sloppy Joes. From Mary Schafer, 1950. Recipe jealously guarded in times past. This is the stuff we grew up with. Use 90% ground beef or brown and drain the beef first. Serve on hamburger buns with dill pickle chips, a must!
- Combine all ingredients in a deep skillet and simmer until meat and onions are done.
Good but needs some more seasoning. Maybe increasing the amount of horseradish would help.
