- In a large bowl, mix together the garlic and the soy sauce.
- Add the chicken and turn to coat well.
- Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Grill chicken over medium hot coals for 20-30 minutes turning from time to time and basting with any remaining marinade, until cooked through.
- Serve hot.
I really liked the flavor of these (I think they marinated about 2 hours). They were so simple. But, my dearest husband told me I should remove the skin next time. Well, yuk ... I really like the skin. So I doubt I will be making it again.
After I mixed this up I did not have time to put it on the grill. SO...I marinated the chicken in the refrig. for over night. Big mistake on my part!! The flavor was over powering. I think I'd also like to try a low sodium soy sauce if I fix this again.
