- 1814.36 g broiler chickens (two birds)
- butter or fat, melted

Barbecue Sauce
- 78.78 ml cider vinegar
- 4.92 ml Kitchen Bouquet
- 4.92 ml Worcestershire sauce
- 2.46 ml onion salt
- 1.23 ml garlic salt
- 2.46 ml salt
- 0.61 ml black pepper
- 0.61 ml paprika
- 14.79 ml tomato paste
- 118.29 ml fat, melted
directions
- Have the chickens split down the back.
- Preheat broiler.
- Brush with melted fat and place on a heated broiling rack, skin side down.
- Replace rack about 5" from the heat, cook about 15 minutes, turn.
- Brush other side with fat and return to broiler.
- Keep turning, allowing 45 to 60 minutes for the birds to cook.
- Combine remaining ingredients to make a sauce and baste chicken several times with it during the broiling.
