  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat; sauté ground beef with onions until beef is browned and onions are tender.
  • Pour off excess fat, and add remaining ingredients.
  • Pour into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.

  4. Very, very good. I made a half-portion of this recipe to serve with another dish at lunch and I should have made the whole amount. The kids loved it - so that always gets 5 stars in my books.
     
  5. I have a recipe very similar to this which I was going to add, but mine only adds 1 to 2 tsp of prepared mustard to this recipe and I only use 1 tbsp of vinegar. I serve this dish with Boston Brown Bread. It's one of my husband's favorite meals!
