- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 large tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
- 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons chopped onions
- 1 -2 tablespoon steak sauce
- 1 -2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground pepper
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 5 minutes or until the pepper is crisp tender.
- Brush evenly over beef, pork, lamb or poultry.
