Bar-B-Q-burgers

"This recipe comes from "Better Homes and Gardens, Junior Cook Book" from 1955. My mom made these when she was a kid, and for us when we were kids! It's a nice "sloppy joe" style sandwich without the tomato sauce."

  1. I love this sloppy joe recipe. I add some worstershire. Don't let the gumbo soup fool you, it's wonderful and even better as it slow simmers.

  2. This is a wonderful and easy recipe! Great for people who don't really enjoy or just want a change from they the "red sauce" sloppy joes. I always wondered what people were talking about when they talked about sloppy joes having rice in them! Also wonderful to make up and place into a crock pot for parties. Very tasty, thanks for posting.

  3. My favorite sloppy joe recipe, just like my mom used to make. The longer it simmers, the better the flavor.
