Directions

  1. Peel bananas.
  2. Slice lengthwise and place in a flat roaster.
  3. Add sugar, butter and rum.
  4. Cover and heat over medium heat for 10 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat and cook for 15 minutes more.

This is yummy, thank you for sharing. I didn't have any rum or brandy, so I used kahluh, and it tasted great!

Just made this for a quick dessert after a meal with friends. It worked just great. The only thing I did differently, was I used my grandpa's old cast iron skillet that is huge, and in another skillet toasted pecans with a sprinkle of seasalt. Heavenly. Thanks for the easy, great recipe.

Although it was easy to make, we had to throw it out. It turned out to be just a bunch of smooshy bananas. It probably would have been good if there were 1/2 the bananas and 4 times the sauce.
