Another recipe I found in: "Brain Foods For Kids: Over 100 Recipes To Boost Your Child's Intelligence." I got it as a send-in freebie from Kashi. The protein in this will keep your hunger in check for awhile, and who doesn't love peanut butter and bananas!
- 2 large bananas
- 1 tablespoon natural-style peanut butter, creamy
- 1⁄2 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1 1⁄4 cups milk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Put all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth, thick, and frothy.
My kids LOVED this. Really did a great job of staving off the after-school grumpies. :)
