Serve these over your favorite pancakes, waffles, pound cake or vanilla ice cream.
- In small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
- Saute walnuts in butter until they just begin to brown.
- Add bananas; stir to coat with butter mixture.
- Stir in syrup, reduce heat to low.
- Serve warm.
Yum!! Used homemade syrup that had some cinnamon in it. Really made waffles so much better this morning. Thanks!

I threw the bananas in the blender to make a smooth paste then added the butter and syrup. I left out the nuts, but used a 1/4 t black walnut flavor. It made a nice smooth syrup without comments of "chunks" in my syrup. Everyone loved it. I think this would also be good over ice cream.
