Banana Split "ice Cream"

Brown bananas were 39 cents a pound, so I bought about 15 pounds and put 'em in my freezer. mmmmmmm....frozen bananas. So this is my first treat from them. Measurements are approximate

Deeevine, of course! How could it not be? So here I am, scarfing this down at 9:30 p.m. How bad is that?! Well, I ate virtuously all day, and besides, this is healthy too! Except that, well, I admit it- I added a spoonful of chocolate sauce :-)

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 bananas, peeled and frozen
  • 1 cup bing cherry, pitted and quartered
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds


  1. Break bananas into chunks and place in food processor.
  2. Add enough water for the food processor to turn bananas into "ice cream".
  3. Spoon into bowl(s), add (dividing if necessary) cherries and almonds, and mix.
  4. Enjoy!
