I make this super-simple breakfast smoothie almost every morning... it tastes great and keeps me full until lunch!

Although I'm not one to use tofu in my smoothies, it does work very well, & I might just start using it more often now! I did use a frozen banana though because I like the frosty chill it gives! Definitely a great tasting smoothie! [Made & reviewed for one of my adoptees in the current Pick A Chef event]

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 banana, peeled
  • 3 ounces pineapple juice (1/2 of a small can)
  • 12 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
  • 14 cup soft tofu

  1. Get all the ingredients out and put them in your blender. I like to use my single-serving blender (like a Magic Bullet) for convenience.
  2. Blend thoroughly. Keep it going a little longer than you think you need to -- it will get creamier and you'll get rid of any banana chunks left over.
  3. Enjoy! You could use frozen bananas for a colder drink, but I don't think it's necessary.
