This recipe came out of Kids Health Magazine from Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. This is were we take our DD for her diabetes checkups.
- 7 ounces plain yogurt (2% milkfat)
- 1⁄2 banana
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup ice cube
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Mix until smooth.
This is a great tasting smoothie but somehow there was too much honey for me. It tasted too much honey. Next time I'll use splenda. Thanks Charlotte :) Made for PAC Fall 2011
Very thick and creamy smoothie. I doubled the recipe for three servings. Made for Potluck Tag Fall 2009.
