ingredients
- 2 bananas
- 1⁄4 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons wheat germ
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cups milk
- ground nutmeg
directions
- Put the bananas in a blender or food processor.
- Add the yoghurt, honey, wheat germ, milk and nutmeg.
- Process or blend until smooth.
- Taste before serving and add more honey if you like.

Made this smoothie tonight because I was craving something sweet. Had to omit the wheat germ because I no longer keep it in the house since three people in the family are gluten intolerant. I shared the smoothie with my son who loves fruit smoothies and he said that he felt it needed strawberries to round it out. I will keep the recipe on hand though as it will be a nice summer cooler. I think next time I will add some flax seeds in place of the wheat germ though. Thanks for posting your recipe. Made and Reviewed for the 41st AUS/NZ Recipe Swap.
