This is one of the 8 bread recipes I made to give as gifts to the members of my church. It is delicious and easy. Thanks for the recipe.

Wonderful and moist, sweet but not sticky. Everyone in my home loves this recipe, and it's very easy to make. I leave out the nuts, and if making a half-batch (1 loaf) I use 2 eggs, which works well.

This is very similar to my mom's tropical quick bread, to which she adds coconut. I added 1 t. dried orange peel, 1/2 t. each ginger and nutmeg. This bread really needs one day wrapped before slicing to mature and blend flavors.

A nice variation on banana bread. I used 4 large bananas and substituted Smucker's Healthy Bake for half the oil and reduced the pecans to just over a cup. I toasted the pecans before adding them. Very good flavor and texture.

This bread is a success with everyone in my family and with my friends as well. Its very tasty and I just "love" the cinnamon in it. I've made this using walnuts instead of pecans since we dont get pecans easily in Oman. I love this bread!! Thanks for sharing.
