  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Cream sugar, shortening, and applesauce.
  • Mix in egg.
  • Add sifted dry ingredients.
  • Add oatmeal, bananas and raisins.
  • Mix well.
  • Drop by teaspoonsful on greased baking sheet.
  • Bake 10 minutes.
