Very good. Nice and moist cake. I was afraid that I had done something wrong as it was pretty runny, but it turned out just perfect. I topped it with banana frosting-Yummy. I didn't add the nuts and I used canola oil instead of veg.
I made this and it was excellent... The combination of bananas and cinnamon is great! The only things I had to improvise- I added a 1/2 cup cinnamon applesauce because I only had two bananas on hand, and added 3/4 tsp white vinegar to the milk since I didn't have any buttermilk. I didn't see salt listed in the ingredients, so I added 3/4 tsp and it turned out really tasty!
I made this & took it to a class. Everyone loved it. I used regular oats also. worked great. Topped with a cream cheese frosting and sprinkled walnuts over top. Highly recommend..
Really good cake! Took no time at all to put together & get into the oven. I used 2/3 cup of mixed dried fruit bits for the raisins, otherwise followed the recipe exactly. The cake came out very moist, and I topped it with some leftover cream cheese frosting. Yummy! Thanks for posting! -M
My Husband just loved this cake! I ran out of oatmeal only had 1/2 cup, but I added 1/2 cup of oat bran and it turned out perfectly moist and oh so good!! I did add an extra egg too. Will make this again! Thanks for a great recipe
Very Very addictive. Although I find the crumb a bit too loose -I might add a bit more flour next time, and a bit more of a sticking agent such as another egg...
Very good, easy and beautiful cake. I frosted it with JamesDean'sGirl's Banana Frosting #70858. It was delicious! Thanks meow! for another great keeper.
