Made this yesterday and DS age 6 said "Now this is the way to eat oatmeal!" The rest of the family that was home enjoyed it very much as well. It is a definite keeper. I used the last of my walnuts in our Easter carrot cake, so I topped the oatmeal with slivered almonds which were very tasty as well. Thanks for posting this recipe. Made and reviewed for the 39th AUS/NZ Recipe Swap.

I used sugar coated roasted walnuts and it was so yummy! This fed one adult and an always hungry baby, though she skipped the walnuts. Thanks for sharing.

This was a seriously yummy recipe! Gave me a chance to enjoy walnuts (which I don't normally eat but want to now!). And I simply love bananas. This made for such a filling meal. I micro'd 1/2 cup rolled oats w/ 2/3 cup skim milk (my normal amts). I added a Splenda pkt & a little cinn after cooking, but next time will try the brown sugar. The Splenda seemed to make it a tad too sweet for me, but the cinn was wonderful. I added about 1 tsp of mini choc chips along w/ the walnuts for topping, which made a great combo. Thank u so much for sharing!

This makes for a great bowl of oatmeal. It will now be one of my favorites. I used splenda brown sugar and almond milk. Everything else was as written. Yummy!

I loved the banana and walnut in the oatmeal! I used rice milk. Thanks for a great breakfast! Made for Best of 2010 tag game.
