Was looking for a yummy comforting oatmeal on a chilly morning. This tasted like banana bread in a bowl. Warm, sweet, fruity and filling.

  1. In small saucepan stir together butter, sugar (2 tbsp.if you like it a little sweeter), oatmeal and milk.
  2. Cook and stir until almost done then add nuts and banana.
  3. Finish stirring and cooking until completed.
  4. Serve with love.

Wonderful! Used splenda brown sugar blend and this turned out really tasty. Will be making again. Thank you for the recipe.

I gave this recipe 4 stars. Yum! This is so good. I made this for my breakfast. I made 2 small changes. I used 1 tbl of Splenda in place of the sugar and 1 whole small banana. This is so good and smells like banana bread. I will make this again! Thanks for posting a yummy recipe. Christine (internetnut)
