- 118.29 ml shortening
- 236.59 ml sugar
- 3 eggs (well-beaten)
- 3 bananas
- 14.79 ml sour milk
- 473.18 ml sifted flour
- 4.92 ml baking soda
- 0.61 ml salt
- 118.29 ml walnuts (chopped)
directions
- Cream shortening & sugar until fluffy. Add well beaten eggs, then bananas & sour milk. Sift flour, soda & salt together and add to mixture. Fold in nuts and bake in greased loaf pan one hour at 350 degrees.
- I prefer to make this recipe into muffins so I spoon the batter into greased muffin tins and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
