Yummy! I love muffins, they're probably my favorite thing to bake. I got this recipe of another random recipe site, I changed the measurements a little.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Stir bran with milk and let sit for 5 minutes, stir occasionally.
  3. Stir in bananas, butter, honey and egg. Mix well.
  4. And flour, baking powder, and salt until just moist.
  5. Pour batter into cups.
  6. Sprinkle each with sugar.
  7. Bake 28 mintes or until light golden.

This is a great recipe. I substituted the white flour for whole wheat and added toasted coconut I happened to have. Still excellent! Thanks.

I had a couple of bananas that needed using, so I went on a banana muffin search. This is the recipe I chose, and I sure am glad that I did. I love the idea of the bran mixed with the bananas. Made exactly as directed with the exception of the brown sugar topping. I used Turbino sugar instead. Thanks for the great recipe.
