Banana Loaf

"Got this from Grandma too. It is the best. I have experimented with other recipes and always come back to this one. Very moist, and stays moist too. Best flavor the day after baking though. This freezes well with no effect on the taste or texture of the bread."

  1. Apart from the order of the ingredients and the partial directions, this recipe is fantastic. I made 8 mini loafs instead of 1 large loaf. YUM, YUM, EXTRA YUM!

  2. A very simple recipe, great when you only have a couple of bananas lying around. I dusted my loaf pan with icing sugar, and added chopped pecans in place of the walnuts. Yummy!
