Awesome recipe. I cut the sugar to 1/2 cup, and used bananas (minus cherries). Added some Malibu rum (banana flavored) and seriously the best banana muffins ever!

This is fabulous! I went and got Ranier cherries the other day, and had nanas I wanted to use up. My LORD! Was it good!! Bless you Amy!!people found this review Helpful. oh my god, what an exeptional recipe, so easy, I thought the long list of ingredients were daunting but not at all, I made it exactly as stated and was very dubious about no eggs, I have NEVER cooked any muffin or cake without an egg before and awesome, I am sitting eating it at the moment hot out of the oven, broke into two with a dob of butter, whipped cream and fresh homemade cherry sauce over it, to die for, what a winner of a recipe, go on try it, Thanks for a brilliant recipe.people found this review Helpful. Delicious! Never would have thought to make muffins with rhum - but it works! Added a bit more lime juice and I did add an egg because I didn't have self-rising flour. Added a few chocolate chips also. Baked it for about 30 minutes. Thanks Redneck for a yummy muffin recipe!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful...
