Very good banana daiquiri for banana lovers. Recipe source: Bon Appetit (June 1981)
- 4 bananas, ripe, cut into pieces
- 3⁄4 cup rum
- 1⁄2 cup corn syrup
- 6 tablespoons lime juice
- 1⁄2 cup crushed ice
- maraschino cherry, if desired (garnish)
- Combine ingredients expect for cherries (bananas - ice) in a blender and blend until smooth and frothy.
- Pour into champaign or wine glasses and garnish with cherries.
These are just sooo gooood! Everythnig is right about them.
This was a yummy drink...next time I'll use bananas a bit less ripe. Thanks for posting, ellie. (:
