The best cupcake I've ever made. I made this with half wheat flour and you couldn't even taste it. I also added 1 teaspoon cinnamon to the cupcakes and upped it to 1/2 teaspoon in the frosting. They were delicious!

FREAKING AWESOME! This are DELICIOUS! Make them.... NOW! I found they only needed 20 minutes in my oven (runs a little hot). Also, grate and use fresh cinnamon. Sprinkle a little on top for the final wow!

Very good. Frosting was perfect. Added yellow food coloring to the frosting for the bumble bee theme for a birthday party.

Very good cupcakes. Followed the recipe as show, but did add a bit of cinnamon to the batter, though I didn't notice a difference. Also, the frosting just balled up, never creamed so I had to add a bit of water to the mix, then was perfect. The cupcakes could easily be eaten on their own, but the frosting adds a nice sweet moisture to the experience. I did have a lot of frosting left over, so next time I would probably half the recipe, if I make the frosting at all. Another idea, as someone else mentioned, was adding walnuts, which I didnt have but wish I did. In addition, raisins might be pretty good in this too. Anyway, very good recipe, very fluffy, not dense cupcakes. And easily made with things I have around the house - no added expense!

These cupcakes were great, made them just as the recipe directed. Haven't frosted them yet, I'm sure they will be even better then!!

Loved this recipe! The cake is so good, it doesn't even need the frosting. I am one that usually will burn my banana bread, but this turned out moist and delicious!!

I made this exactly as posted and the cakes are good. But I just have a feeling that something seems to be missing. I did eat one and put regular butter on it and it was perfect. When I make these again, I will use salted butter. The cooking time was about right for my oven to brown them, but although they were brown on top, they were not done inside and I had to bake them 10 min. longer. I will make these again and perhaps add some chopped nuts for a little more flavor. Donna
